Athleisure Goals: Designer Activewear From Alala, Carbon38 and More

Who says self-care can't be swanky?
How To Relax with Class
Even if I'm wearing glasses instead of contacts, my hair in a messy bun, and zit cream visible on my face, designer activewear has the ability to make me feel put-together. Designed with both fashion and function in mind, these supremely versatile pieces demonstrate multi-tasking at its finest. Whether I'm heading to yoga, walking my dogs, running errands, or just hanging out, they're comfortable, cozy, and the epitome of laidback luxury — without ever trying too hard.
Plus, the fact that comfortable loungewear that can now be worn in public — sans shame — makes fitness easier to work into our busy lifestyles. While affordability is not the objective, the sartorially-inclined can still appreciate the merits of an "aspirational" wellness wardrobe.
I've included a few of my favorite athleisure lines and retailers below to help inspire you to revamp your gym gear's aesthetic. If you're anything like me, having clothes that you're excited to wear can help motivate you to make wellness more of a priority in your day.

Before You Go
My philosophy is that anything can be self-care — whether creative, recreational, or downright silly. The key is realizing that any time you intentionally shape your environment to bring about positive, pro-health, happy states, you are actively in pursuit of your health and wellness. Consider a few of the street-chic styles above to get your designer activewear collection started.
