23 CBD Skincare and Wellness Launches to Try Next 2.0
Updated: Jul 6, 2019
Those CBD launches just keep coming...
Holy smokes! There are CBD brands launching faster than I can sample them. Along with the surge of cannabidiol-infused beauty and wellness products hitting the market, we are also witnessing the evolution of cannabis into a luxury commodity.
Long before the beloved, bougie CBD-brand, Lord Jones, put out Royal Oil, designer Jonathan Adler was selling high-end gifts and decor for the cannabis-curious consumer. I own one of his Ganja jars and a little decorative weed dish that I keep on my vanity — they're cute, cheeky, and a little bit rebellious.
Now luxury-lovers can shop CBD at Barney's, which introduced their very own upscale wellness editorial, The High End — presumably in response to Neiman Marcus' and Ulta's green-themed counterparts. And now that Mary Jane is officially legal in California, it has swiftly become glamorous and trendy.
CBD also continues to be one of my all time favorite skincare ingredients to apply before going to sleep. I still use my Hora Skincare exfoliating overnight mask regularly and look forward to applying it each night. Each time I do, I wake up with smooth, balanced skin without a trace of irritation.
If you haven't tried out CBD skincare or cosmetics yet, now is the perfect time to do so because Sephora has a special promotion running. If you spend $25 or more, you can enter the code TRYCBD to sample Products from Lord Jones, Herbivore, Saint Jane, and Josie Maran.
Whether seeking skincare, cosmetics, wellness, or chillness, you have plenty of CBD-themed options to choose from. Be sure to note whether your selected product simply contains hemp oil, or if it contains additional CBD. The ones featuring added milligrams of CBD will be extra-therapeutic for irritated skin.
Here are 23 CBD-infused beauty and wellness finds as of June 2019 (with many more to come).
Shaman-Blessed Crystals + CBD
The definition of high vibe from the celebrity manicurist's line of clean beauty products, which is infused with shaman-blessed crystals as well as CBD. Both Julia and Emma Roberts have gotten crystal manicures from this absolute goddess.
This is not a clean beauty brand, but it is pretty innovative because it's the first CBD-retinol that I've seen. It contains colloidal oatmeal and hemp oil that will both make the irritating anti-aging ingredient tolerable. And topical melatonin? I'll admit I'm intrigued.
Skincare boosters allow you to add bits of your favorite active ingredients (like vitamin C) to your products. This CBD Booster would be useful for someone like me, who suffers from frequent skin irritations. This is the perfect ingredient if you break out in hives, rashes, irritations, burns, etc.
This is a luxury green beauty brand I highly recommend. Oil blended body serums are among my favorite products ever for scoring smooth legs.
If you're sore after a workout, spritz this. I also love using Lord Jones High CBD Formula Body Lotion, $60, for soreness, cramps, aches, and pains of all kinds.
Clean CBD Starter Kit
CBD Starter Kit, $175
That Khus + Khus Restorative Potion is a best-seller at the clean beauty retailer, Credo.
Patches for everything from PMS to hangover cures.
Tom sampled one and it worked; I took one this morning.
They're on sale right now from $90. Mine are lemon flavored.
Fast-Acting CBD Booster
Nano-CBD is the most bio-available (fastest) form of the anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory wellness supplement. This dropper will work instantly if you add it to your beverage. They even make CBD Non-Dairy Creamer for CBD + Coffee, and cute CBD gummies in the shape of asteroids.
Sensitive skin-friendly Argan is Josie Maran's secret weapon. Adding 100 mg CBD into the mix makes it a skincare cocktail of soothing relief. (Basically the perfect nightcap.)
More Potent Facial Oil
This all-oil blend facial oil contains 300 mg of CBD, which is three times as much as the Argan blend above.
I love this hybrid green-ceutical skincare company. They're not vegan because they farm bees, but they care about their well-being. The brand uses honey and echinacea green-envy (their bio-engineered green-ceutical) in their products.
I have actually gotten a CBD massage at The Now in Silver Lake and it was amazing. We had a weird psychic moment about Transcendental Meditation. I highly recommend trying a CBD massage.
Luxury Bath Salts
Extremely high end.
*There is no added CBD in this product, but it is reviewed as a lightweight, hydrating moisturizer (with hemp oil).
Chocolate Mint Anti-Anxiety Drops
Chocolate mint-flavored CBD drops are definitely something I would like to try — and soon.
I've been giving these to Jackson (and half to Delilah so she doesn't get jealous) and noticing a major difference in his mobility, particularly when it comes to the stairs. I think it might be helping his hips as he's an old boy now.
There is no added CBD but this men's hair pomade is safe for sensitive skin and contains beeswax, hemp, and meadowfoam seed extract.
I used this 500 mg salve for cramps and it was a life-saver.
Cute branding. I love this line of canna-advocates.
This new launch from the popular brand does not feature additional CBD to the hemp it contains, but the line comes highly recommended. (No pun intended.)
