CBD Brand Lord Jones is Now Sold at SoulCycle
Lord Jones is basically a canna-pioneer
There's a CBD supplement available for almost every ailment — even PMS. Thanks to the hard work and destigmatization efforts of CBD- and cannabis-advocates, these life-changing products are become more readily available to consumers.
Lord Jones has been one such trailblazer at breaking CBD into mainstream awareness. They do so with the type of aspirational vibes and style-conscious marketing that appeals even to the most discerning of luxury consumers.
In 2018 they became the first CBD brand to be sold at Sephora. In 2019 they were the only cannabis brand to make Fast Company's list of the "World's Most Innovative Companies." They're also slated to open the first Cannabis Boutique (!!) at The Standard Hotel on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood.
Most recently, they became the first and only CBD product to be sold at the cult-favorite spin studio, Soul Cycle. Available online and in all 85 of their locations, the brand's High CBD Body Lotion promises to soothe sore muscles and alleviate tension — the perfect follow-up to a hardcore workout.
The brand's High CBD Body Lotion ($60) moisturizes and softens the skin, but it's cooling and pain relief properties proves the brand's potential when used as a work-out aid. Actress Kristen Bell famously does just that, revealing that she loves using the moisturizer on her sore back.
The lotion is available fragranced, with whiffs of mint, sage, and citrus, or non-fragranced — which I'll opt for to avoid getting itchy legs. Each pump yields 1 ml of lotion with 2 mg of CBD that capitalizes upon the relaxing component of self- and body-care, while nourishing the skin in a readily absorptive formula.
The brand is well-known for their gourmet gumdrops and chocolates infused with cannabidiol, which come in picture-perfect packaging. My hope is that a vegan gumdrop comes soon so that I can finally sample their line of stress-reducing treats.
