12 CBD Products in Beauty and Wellness for Green-Lovers to Try Next

Updated: Jun 25, 2019

The rise of cannabidiol is not — we repeat, NOT — slowing down any time soon.

The market for CBD, or cannabidiol, shows no sign of slowing down. Retailers from Neiman Marcus to Ulta have opened their doors to the anti-inflammatory supplement, which is great news for wellness and beauty consumers across the United States.

The first luxury green cosmetic: Tinted CBD lip gloss.

This growth is fueling the spread and development of CBD's interdisciplinary benefits — from PMS supplements, to overnight skincare masks, to clean cosmetics, and more. Even my two miniature schnauzers have experienced the wonders of CBD in veterinary treats and tinctures. I am personally excited to report that the first luxury green CBD cosmetics have emerged, too.

Even as the industry grows, these brands and businesses face social and systemic barriers born of the supplement's association with cannabis.

It seems downright silly — after all, CBD is completely non-psychoactive. Plus, recreational marijuana use is legal where I live. But my own dad refuses to try "that weed stuff," as he calls it. (And he really needs it! Just kidding.)

Social advocacy can feel like fighting an uphill battle, making it some of the most emotionally draining work. That's why I like to show extra-love to canna-advocates worldwide. You can, too, by enthusiastically sampling the array of CBD becoming available.

Remember that it's because of the boss-babes at publications like MJ Lifestyle, brands like NotPot, Herbivore, and Saint Jane, and even retailers like Elevate Jane, that we can CB-dabble in peace.

Read on to explore twelve more ways to get your zen on using CBD.

Canna Smack Soap-Free Body Wash ($20)

This body wash won't strip the skin of its natural oil-protection, is pH-friendly, and is both vegan and cruelty-free. P.S. How cute are the names?

Kat Rudu Sanctuary Glow CBD Serum ($120)

A luxury facial oil blend that soothes while it nourishes. I am obsessed with using CBD facial products at night because I always wake up noticing drastically promoted healing times. This one uses vegan protein and vitamins to repair and “reverse age.”

Onyx and Rose CBD Bath Bomb ($15)

Don't miss their peppermint-flavored CBD tinctures, either, especially if you can't stand the herbal taste.

Emera Nourishing CBD Scalp Therapy ($30)

I have had scalp eczema ever since getting the Brazilian blow out treatment to my hair. I can only imagine how soothing this anti-inflammatory concoction must be to dry, irritated skin on the scalp.

Primal Life Organics Dirty Mouth Toothpowder + Gum Serum ($70)

I've used their tooth powder before when I was trying to find ways to help remineralize my teeth and prevent cavities. I love that they incorporate CBD into the mix. Gum inflammation is real.

Humboldt Apothecary Tinctures

The terpene-rich formulas allow for specialized results (see above). Their website also contains an impressive selection of THC-containing tinctures, as well.

Saint Jane Microdose Lip Gloss ($28)

You can now shop these luxury clean beauties at Barney's, too! It's the first pigmented CBD lip product on the market.

CBD Daily Shampoo ($19) + Conditioner ($19)

This appeals to me for the health of my hair as well as my scalp.

CoSo Beauty Hemp Oil Infused Facial Gel Sheet Mask ($47 for 5)

CBD-infused K-Beauty. 'Nuff said.

The Gold Q 2-in-1 Day and Night Cream ($78)

Eye creams are one of the most popular products that people inquire about.

Veritas Farms Full Spectrum CBD Lip Balm ($4)

The price is very much right.

FOMO Bones CBD Dog Treats ($45)

Got an anxious pup? I've got two. Mine have major separation anxiety, although the feeling is mutual. These CBD dog biscuits can help with that.
