Dermatologists recommend reducing the intensity of harsh actives like retinol in the winter, hence the perfection of this gentle, clean retinol formula. It's safe for sensitive skin with Niacinamide for added barrier support.
Firma-Bright Booster, $124
The new 20% vitamin C serum boasts an impressively clean formula by EWG’s stringent standards. It also promises brighter skin in just seven days, courtesy of Ascorbic Phosphate (SAP), a brightening peptide Gran Active 1518, pore “shrinking” Niacinamide, wrinkle-smoothing Argireline, and collagen-boosting Ellagi-C. It absorbs cleanly and leaves skin smooth.
Microneedle patches were one of the innovative new developments for treating everything from dark spots, to wrinkles, to acne in 2019. The hyaluronic micropoints in these patches allow for the more efficient delivery of anti-pimple salicylic acid, anti-bacterial totarol, and soothing beta glucan into the skin.
The entirely coconut oil-based line launched a new CBD collection that includes their deodorant (a favorite), a calming body cream, and a mint-infused recovery balm, all made from organic coconuts.
Sleep Tight Kit, $49.99
Improve your sleep with this dreamy gift set featuring a silk eye mask, aromatherapy spray, and a lotion that is infused with magnesium and melatonin. The clean, self-care company, which is co-owned by Venus Williams, also sells a CBD-infused version called Chill the Night Away.
Add this serum to any product you own for a boost of hyaluronic acid, moringa seed extract, the peptide creatine, and Oribe's proprietary extract complex for hydration and free radical-protection.
The adaptogenic supplement brand began their foray into skincare with an exfoliating toner and a plumping serum. They've launched a vegan moisturizer containing ashwaghanda, schisandra, and hyaluronic acid designed to protect the skin's collagen. BTW there's a new Milk Cleanser, too, whose tube is made out of sustainable sugarcane.
Glycolic and lactic acids, fruit enzymes, and apple cider vinegar exfoliate and balance pH, while the crystals amethyst and rose quartz make this a five-minute brightener worth a go.
House of Lashes
If you want fuller lashes, House of Lashes just launched a new collection of faux's inspired by mystical gemstones: aquamarine, rose quartz, and amethyst. Each is designed with a slight difference in density and design to suit the different eye shapes.
Multi-Powder Brush, $40
A beauty tool maven behind the brushes at big names like MAC and Sephora started her first direct-to-consumer line. High quality makeup brushes really do make a difference, and finding one that won't shed is half the battle. You can also purchase cleaning brushes and spray.
Mileo New York
Elixir Oud, $125
Luxury beauty oils contain highly potent nutrients, vitamins, and actives for the skin. This line uses oud, an ultra-pricy tree derivative that doubles as a fragrance. The jewel-toned blends feature sophisticated actives that are tailored to the outcomes you're looking for. Anti-aging bakuchiol, plumping hyaluronic acid, and barrier-protective polyphenols make these luxe little gems a treat for the skin.
Sampler Pack, $15
These probiotic collagen elixirs come in individual powder packets with specific additives for wellness benefits vis-a-vis anti-inflammatory turmeric and antioxidant-packed matcha. The only iffy ingredient is the Biotin, which some dermatologists suggest can lead to breakouts.
Collagen is great for digestion and the gut, which leads to better skin, plus it's an excellent emollient. This marine-sourced blend is derived from the scales of tilapia, manufactured in Japan, and includes vitamins C and E for antioxidant protection.
We're all about the clean smooches for your one-and-only this Valentine's Day. The sets come in Red Hot, Pink Smooch, and Berry Fierce.

Body oils provide concentrated nourishment to the skin of the entire body. This brand is one of the cleanest and made from largely organic ingredients.
It's a retinol-alternative sourced from natural red algae springs. Algae has been linked to anti-pollution effects, a major cause of free radical damage, as well as dark spots and hyper-pigmentation. According to clinical trials, this clean, anti-aging pick starts working on texture and fine lines after just one week.
The clean, sensitive skin-friendly beauty brand has been selling out at Sephora. Next up? Two limited-edition holiday shades — Magic and Spicy — will be joining the collection permanently after January 17, and available at Sephora after January 19.
This brand makes my favorite shampoo and conditioner, and now there's a new mask to try.
Cleansing oils are gentle, great for removing makeup, and sensitive on the skin barrier, while the fruit enzymes buff away dead skin cells for a little extra glow.
